10 Day Course - After School Courses

The 30 Hour Classroom is the instructional portion of the Driver Education Program. Classes are held virtually on Zoom.

Classes are held for 3 or 6 hours per class, and operate in 5 or 10 day sessions. A class average of 80% must be obtained through class work, quizzes and a final exam to pass this course. Students must have passed the course to proceed to the behind the wheel portion of instruction

The 30 hour class will also provide students with an eye exam conducted by a NC DMV Examiner on the SBTS-800 form which your student will receive prior to class starting. Both a passing score and this form are needed to schedule the Behind the Wheel (BTW) lessons.  The behind the wheel instruction will consist of 6 hours behind the wheel lessons with one of our instructors. To successfully complete the behind the wheel, the student must be proficient in basic handling of the motor vehicle.  Upon the completion of the Classroom and BTW Lessons, students will be issued a Driver Education Certificate showing completion of the course and a parent checklist for the next steps to prepare for the NC DMV.
